Whats the difference between US and Canada models for turn signals? Is it just the switch or would i have to order new tail lights, the harness, and switch?

My understanding is the machine is wired for the lights and there is a plug and play harness you can buy.

I have a Canadian 2020 Z5, they come with signals and 4-way flashers if you want me to check anything on mine, need pics of something, etc...let me know.
People have snickered about the signals and 4-ways....but in 200 short kms, I (and the 2 bikes behind me) found the signals really handy on a ride I was elected to ride in really dusty conditions. A lot of it was logging roads and power-dry dusty, and the bike behind me could hang way back and I could signal left or right for an upcoming turn, and I'd put the 4-ways on for a few flashes, then a left or right to indicate a 90 degree in the logging road.   They said it was handy...visibility was crap, and with the signals they always knew what was happening ahead of them.

Yes in WV they just passed a law i can get it registered like a motorcycle if it passes a motorcycle inspection. Only thing holding me up are turn signals. Can you send me a pic of the connecter to the back of the switch? Im hoping the tail lights have them built in and the harness is just hidden.

Started to make our own turn signal using 3/4" LEDs. Got the lights mounted and wired on the rear, then strung the wire in a loom from rear to front yesterday. Will do the front turn signals this morning. Still waiting on a rocker switch. The humidity and heat combo yesterday was brutal. Jim and I have identiclal uforce 500s and decided to do our own turn signals and hazard build and have something to do. I'll post the progress and info if anyone is interested. The total should be less than 30 bucks. Stan

Finished adding turn signals for two Uforce 500s today. They are nice and bright. Now waiting for switches to make them hazard lights (4 way flashers). My buddys scooter took us two hours to install. Mine took about half of a day due to planning and installation.

RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!

MEASURE WITH A MICROMETER, DOUBLE CHECK WITH A TAPE MEASURE, CUT WITH AN AXE!

IF IT CAN'T BE FIXED WITH A HAMMER, IT'S AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM!

Looks good!  I've had all the stuff to do my Z, but just haven't seemed to find the time to haul it in the shop.

Finally got all the switches for the turn signals and hazard (4 way) lights and finished up the project. Everything works well and it cost a little over $30.00.

I can post a photo of the wiring diagram if anyone is interested.
