Trail 800 vs 950 leg room ?
« on: January 09, 2022, 10:22:58 AM »
I currently own a 800 trail, wishing it had a little more leg room. I've done a seat mod, still would like so more . Mostly just to get in and out of the machine. I had a stroke 2 tears ago, had to give up motorcycling because my left side doesn't quite function like it should. None the less, REALLY enjoying our 800t, and will definitely will keep it, but was considering a second utv, the cf moto 950. More leg room, easier to get in and out of than the 800t ? thanks for your relies, Chris.

If it were me I'd go down and sit in one personally.

I will go and sit in one when I find one in Missouri but I was hoping some one with some first hand knowledge would chime in. I guess there's never a bad time to go visit a dealership.

Sadly, if you had posted this questions a few months ago I would have been more careful when I sat in both of these machines and taken note.   I can tell you this, I am 6’ 3” about 215#.  I wasn’t really feeling comfy in either machine.   That being said, I ordered a ZForce 950 HO.

I figured if you can’t be comfortable, at least get there as quick as you can.  The same philosophy made me by a ZL1 Camaro.  Lol.

I was actually sitting in both of these yesterday. B4 I bought the Z force 950 sport. They honestly werent that much of a diff to me. The 950 felt roomier maybe even a little more wiggle room. But Im like you. 6%u20191 and 245lbs and I kinda thought the seat in the 950 was a little snug. Its like they formed that foam cushion on the seat for a 15yr old girl. Haha. The actual seat itself in the 800 was more comfortable, but Im hoping the 950s cushion will open up a bit after time maybe. But the 950 was just to awesome looking not to get it. 75mph tons of room. Better suspension. A lot more extras. Get It!
