I recently put on some 29 inch big horns and already had my clutch reclocked to the C 1 position previously so do I need to adjust to the B 2 position or will I be ok for awhile???

Depends on your riding conditions. If just trails with moderate hills, rocks and light mud...probably be find. But if you load it up with axle+ deep mud, lots of sand and/or steep hill climbing, probably better go to B2. Try it and see.

Thanks for the info I will probably tear it apart this weekend meaning we are going to Hatfield and McCoy Trails in 2weeks would it be worth getting these Dr pulley sliders everyone mentions if so where would be a good place to order from?

The sliders are worth it. For you probably stick with the 24gram. Most of us get them from ebay. All CFM 800s are the same so Z,U,X,C 800. Scooter Assassins is the supplier for most.

Once again thank you for the info I will order a set hopefully I will be fine on just the b2 setting for this trip meaning if they even come in on time I will not have time to put them in. Thank you again!!!

I'm on 29's and run B2 and 24g sliders. it works well. low range has pretty good power. I did fail to make it up a VERY steep sand hill though about 75 feet long. Made it all the way to the top but ran out of momentum and power. I forgot to lock the front diff though might have made it if I did. I would go to the next notch, but I think NMK said he did and it started not acting right. I wouldn't mind losing some top speed for more low/mid range power though

Yeah at A2 and with my 22gram sliders on these 27" tires it screamed all the time and had a problem back-shifting. Seems the load was just too high on the ramps to move without taking my foot off the throttle for an instant while hill climbing. But..I found that using low range on long steep hills with a CFM was different then with others in that it will develop enough speed and momentum for the sand hills as well as give you the obvious power in B2. At least it did with my exhaust mod. Now that I have the OE guts back in it might be a different story.
