Kind of a minor topic but considering how important just a pound or two can make on a ride, I thought this story was one that should be posted.
I'm one of those that feels the difference even one PSI can make in overall ride comfort. I have 4 low pressure tire gauges including the one that comes with the CFM. No two read the same pressure. They were off as much as four pounds..that one being the CFM gauge. The rest are round or radial types and as I know how to adjust/calibrate them, I just needed something that was accurate. So I rigged-up my Snap-on fuel pump pressure tester..which I think I can trust, set a tire to 7psi, then calibrated the rest..except the CFM gauge.. to match. Now maybe I can put-off those new Elkas a few extra days...lol
