Tie rod ends
« on: October 27, 2019, 08:49:51 PM »
Who makes good aftermarket tie rod ends? Looking on the big E and all I can find is ends for the uforce and cforce. Are they the same or is the zforce difference?

If it were me looking, I would go over to Alpha-Sports and look up the part numbers between the U and Z Forces. Bet they are the same..:)

I have had to change tie rod ends twice already probably the best thing to do would take one to an auto parts and try and match up thread counts and lengths and such to a stronger material. Alpha sports definitely has the stock ones

I can't believe you guys are breaking these..hell, I can't believe others are bending the knuckles for that matter. Was on my mind every time we hid a rocky section of trail the other day. I did however come home with a blown front shock..@#!*. Guess I'll have a set of new Bandit front springs for sale cheap very soon..cause I'm not buying another CFM shock.

I did both,I bent the knuckle and the tie rod end. We straighten both out. I thank I need to keep a spare. East Coast riding is brutal. That damn stump jumped right in the middle of the trail. OAK TREE YOUR IN MY WAY. Lol. If Buzzard is going to Bosco I know why he’s breaking stuff.

My daughter tagged a tree in low gear at about maybe 10-15 kmh and bent the arm on one of my knuckles, but not the tie rod.  I just straightened it out best I could and adjusted the alignment.  Surprised me that it would bend that easily.  I could see them getting bent if she bent one at that low of a speed.

All I could find was stock. I bought 2 from alpha sports. I keep a spare now. When things slow down a little more I will try to match it up with something made of steel from somewhere else. I’m going to Busco this weekend ponytail, gonna try and keep it out of the deep mud if I can help it. LOL
