Has anyone had their shifter come out of adjustment during a ride?  Mine is off.  Was ok at the start of the ride, now or doesn't seem to move far enough to get in low.  I took the shrouds off and nothing seems bent or out of place.

How are the other positions and detents lining up? Mostly the "H" and "N" detents. If they are all good except those two, let me ask..do you think it possible anyone tried to slap it into low while moving? If so, it possible a fork got bent. But hold on..might also check all the engine mounting bolts. If it shifted at all it would make the alignment off.

All of the other detents are off as well.  I'm the only one that drives it, so unless I hit it with my knee unknowingly.  I would think I would have noticed that. I was going to try to remove the shifter rod to see if I get all the positions with the shifter out of the picture.  I couldn't figure out how to get the ball ends off before I ran out of time.

It adjusts just like a tie rod. Just loosen the jam nuts and turn the rod.

Sounds like it was just barely in adjustment and then it got to the point that it is just barely out of adjustment.  Readjust it and go on.  This isnt a murder case, we all know shifters need adjusted LOL.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.
