Throttle stop
« on: May 28, 2017, 08:21:05 AM »
Finally got a chance to check and see if i had a throttle stop on mine,  i did!   I was getting probably 7/8 throw.  Loosened up the bolt by the top of the pedal so the pedal hits the floor now.   Went from 59mph top speed to 66mph with 2 ppl with 29 inch tires.  Maybe a little more pep at 25 to 30 but kinda hard to tell.  Noticed the difference on top speed tho. Check that your pedal hits the floor!

Depending on what model you have and what country your in, there may be a limiter in the throttle body also.

My uforce 800 went from being able to do 71kmh to 113kmh

Have you checked?  I'm curious if this throttle body stop is on all these machines.  If I can get the mud off mine, maybe I'll check to see if it's easy to get at on the Zforce.

No i didn't look,  but since me pedal is going to the floor there's no way there is a stop in the throttle body. I got 69mph stock before i adusted the pedal now i get more mph than before so I'm on par with everyone else

Yeah, I checked the pedal and saw there was a stop there, and adjusted that a bit.  I can tell that at WOT I'm putting a bit extra tension on the cable.  I'm very rarely at WOT.
