I bought my cfm 800 a year ago. To date, not a single problem except a bad temp sensor. $5.00 fix. My brothers Polaris, been recalled twice, to the shop for repairs 3 times. I'd say a Polaris is an expensive copy of a cf moto.

👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
About 90% of all things purchased in the USA is china based product, or has some level of Chinese parts in its DNA. SO why are these machines getting beat up on?  We trust everything else we buy, but oh.....a SXS from china?!?! No if it's not Japanese made then it must be just..... REALLY?!??
Ok, here is how to solve the issue.  Take $20K out of the bank, buy a new base RZR........or buy a new CFM w/ all the accessories added, then take the $10K you have left and buy another for parts.
I am a huge RZR fan, Yahama, fan, Can Am/BRP , eh nothing I like about the hondas, even the Kawasaki Tyrex.

Everyone is saying no 5 year warranty.  I bought mine in Sept. of last year and bought the 4 year extended warranty. I have five years total. I bought mine with windshield, doors and sliders out the door for 13 grand. I'll deal with the small issues.

Used to in Canada they came with one that you didn't have to pay for. Never had one in the US. Good that you can at least get an extended warranty though.

Test drive went ok, still not sure what I'm going to do. I spent most of the weekend looking at different rides, and getting bottom line quotes.

Like I said earlier, I use to be an extreme mud bog type rider. But my group has sold many of their mud mobiles for more "comfort rides"..........trail riding and camping with the family.

These prices are before taxes, before extended warranty, before any mods.

Zforce 800 ex Eps $11,600

RZR 570s EPS $11,300

Honda Pioneer 700 $9,600

Yamaha Wolverine 700 $10,000

Ranger 570 ( full size ) $9,000

Ranger Crew ( 4 seater ) 900 $11,300

As you can see, the Zforce is more than the other rides I've been thinking of. I do understand the Zforce will come with some accessories that I will have to buy separately on the other models. One thing that turned me off to the Zforce, there was a customer in the place arguing with the service manager that his bike had been in the shop for a month. Service manager told him that some parts were on back order. I couldn't hear "which" parts.

I use this place ^^^^^ for all my Polaris service, never had to wait on parts over a week if they didn't have them is stock. So IDK, I try not to judge this product by what I saw, but also have to remember I want a good experience when spending over $10,000 on a hobby.

True, but it's also a $1600.00 saving, not to mention that is the out the door price, or the added extras the Z8 already has installed. More than likely gone at that price anyway.

I did have to wait over 3 weeks to get a wheel. The dealer kept telling me they couldn't tell me when it would come in, I called BS talked tot he parts manager to ask what was up and I needed an answer. He called CFM and the wheel was coming from china.... So if a part has to come from china you're looking at 3 weeks delivery time. They say there is a warehouse in the states but it doesn't seem to carry much.. Why wouldn't you carry a wheel?? You would think that would be on the most common parts list on one of these machines...

The parts ploy is what's got me gun shy on the Moto. When needed, I can get ANY Polaris part shipped to my house in a few days. If it's a large project, I can rely on the shop to get those parts relatively fast.

I'm pretty good mechanically, I can usually fix anything. But I can't fix much without parts. And I'm not very patient when something is broke, I want it right........like yesterday. lol

Don't know what dealer you guys have. But mine picks up my machine and drops it off. (3hr round trip) for him.  And any parts that didn't need to be factory installed got shipped right to my house in a few days.  As far as wheels I was thinking of getting a matching spare and my dealer can have them in pretty quickly.

One thing to keep in mind during your purchase. The Z force 800 IS a twin cylinder!
IMO twin cylinders typically are stronger and last longer. So another variable to think about is how long do you plan on keeping it or replacing it.

I'm none too happy with my dealer. I am sure I could have gotten a wheel online within a week. It was a warranty issue though so I waited for them to get it fixed. Was getting very impatient. There is another dealer about 1hr 15 minutes from me who I am going to try next. This guy was the closest Higgins, they are 50 minutes from me. Nobody offered me delivery or pick up I trailer my own stuff to and from.
