Temp gauge
« on: February 21, 2018, 02:02:47 PM »
Does anyone know if the three digit numbers that you can access threw the cluster can change the temp gauge? I know of one of the numbers changes the speedometer but does the other two possibly change how the  temp gauge is calibrated ? I looked in the service manual didn't find it
Thanks

To my knowledge, its the resistance of the temp sensor to ground that determines how many bars the pod displays...assuming the electronics of the display are in good working order. There is no other calibration for it. You mentioned two other sets of 3-digit numbers. How are you accessing these?  The only one I am aware of is speedometer calibration and that's all three digits of that set.

That's the one I'm referring to there are three digits from my understanding only the middle digit adjusts the speedometer correct or is that incorrect?

Incorrect...at least from what CFM told me. All three are to fine-tune the speedometer. I changed the first or far left to a 6 from 5 and fixed my issue with going from 26" tires to 27" close enough without any more fine tuning.
