I have seen these offered for RZR. I am wondering if anyone has tried to use them on a cfmoto. These mount between the seat and the bases. They are springs in the back and poly bushings in the front. I was thinking that they would make the bumps a little easier to take.......they are made by desertcraft.

Yeah i dont think anyone else has done it.  While they do help I have always found that putting that effort towards the suspension yields greater returns.  The seats just take the bad shock out but the suspension does that along with helping the buggy handle better.  Now if your already running stage 5 elka's and heim joint A arms then heck yeah its the next step in smoothing out the ride.  But doing suspension seats first is like trying to ice a cake before you bake it.....just backwards.

I'd like a nice set of seats but they want 2 arms and a leg and I've about reached my aftermarket spending limit on this Chinese machine. I'm already finding some warn suspension bushings at 700 miles.

The reason I ask this question is to try to save a little bit of money in the long run. This Z600 I am have set up pretty much for trail so spending 250 or more per shock is a little out of the budget range. I have a mild lift on it and I felt that that has probably made it a stiffer ride. I am now trying to smooth it out a little bit. I know I cannot get it as soft as I would like. I was just thinking that suspension seat or suspension seat brackets might smooth it out a little more and looking for some input. I want to keep it a narrow wheelbase.

I recently installed a Quadboss air seat in my 16 Z800.  It was made for a RZR but seeing that the seat bases are similarly put together I figured I could make it work.  It took some trial and error with the position of the base.   It definitely is nothing compared to some aftermarket seats but it is WAY better than the factory Z seat.  It does a nice job of removing some of the harsh impacts.  Pretty sure it was around $175.   I had also thought about trying a seat from a RZR 900S (very nice seat).  They can be purchased on Ebay for under $200.

I'm 6' 195 and I really don't have anything to say bad about the seats or the suspension in mine. Both seem pretty much on point. Now if this THIRD Thermoswitch in 445 miles, will last then I'll be a happy camper. Fan switch IS coming. Can't wait for it to arrive.
