Stuck on a rock
« on: May 11, 2017, 06:59:21 AM »
Well this was annoying.  I was playing in a stream and saw a decent sized rock, I like to climb things so I went and climbed it. It was about a 3 foot ledge then ramped up from there to about 4 feet. Climbed it no problem. Went to back off of it and got right to the edge where one tire started to come off the edge and the bitch stalled. Well now I'm stuck... machine wont move, can't start it in reverse and there is no way in hell I can shift it with all that load on the trans trust me I tried and tried rocking it... So out comes the winch. Winched her up enough to take the load off and put her in park. Started her up and then could reverse down again... So all in all no big deal but it sure is annoying when they decide to stall in a really bad spot...

Can you not start yours in gear with your foot on the brake?  I can with mine.  If you can not then you have a bad brake switch.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

I'll have to double check. It wouldn't restart at the time, I assumed it had a neutral safety switch but maybe my foot wasn't on the brake.

Worth checking for sure.  I start mine in gear for our races because we do dead engine starts so trying to put it in gear would be a nightmare with all the engines roaring LOL

Yeah you should be able to start it in any gear with your foot on the brake enough for the brake light to come on. When mine was younger...(I say that because it hasn't done it in a while)..many times when I put it in reverse and touch the gas it would just die..but would always restart and I would just have my foot on the brake.
