So.. was my machine supposed to come with a tool to loosen the locking nut above the collar..??
I have the tool for the larger ring, but not the lock nut.. or do you just use pliars?

All that I know of came with two-one slightly smaller for the loc ring and the larger one for the adjuster. You will need both to unlock it...can't do it with just one.

My 2019 came with just one for the larger ring.
