Is there any way to tighten the steering rack on 2016 zforce 500 , I have alot of play in the steering wheel . If not I thought sometime ago I saw a post on putting a rzr steering rack on a zforce

If your a 100% sure it's the rack, no there isn't. But on hundreds of other cases of looseness it ended up being in the splines of the steering stem shaft parts and required only tightening of the pinch bolts.

If you grab one wheel and wiggle it back and forth while having someone hold the steering wheel, does the other wheel move as well or not. If Yes, the entire rack is moving on the pinion and should be replaced. People are adapting-in the RzR 800 rack from SATV. If the other wheel doesn't move then its play in the rod end socket..and they really need replaced before they come apart while moving.
