Hey have a 2016 zforce 500 and it will not go into low range and stay there high range is fine and all other indicators I was kind of wondering if it might have something to do with the movement of the motor because taking off at low speeds I've noticed that the motor shakes quite a bit any input would be appreciated

As in all CFM products everyone needs to check all...and we mean all..bolts and mounts for correct torque or missing parts..first. Then if you have an issue like your shifter problem, we find many have not been adjusted correctly so...that will be your next step. If it has been popping out of a range for a while, and the detent alignment is correct, that is unfortunately an indicator of a bent fork or damaged gear/dog in the transmission.

My little bright now it won't go in gear for long and then it pops out almost immediately and when it does go in gear the indicator light doesn't come on high range is fine though

I did adjust mine and it was fine for a bit. Pooped out of gear on me the other day when I went to unfreeze the throttle cable. Check it again and it was very loose. I'm certain that it was tight last time. I'm going to try to find some nice ball joints to replace these sloppy ones. Once you get it set right, drop some loctight on it.

Well, looks can be deceiving so put a wrench to them to be sure. Also, they are rubber mounted I assume mile the 800s so grab the engine and give it a shake side to side. You shouldn't be able to move it enough to see and if you can, there is something wrong...somewhere. To adjust the shifter you have to get to the shifter rod....and that means plastics removal...at least for me it does. The transmission and the shifter have detents. Many were not adjusted to line up...and many..mine being one, are off meaning the plastic casting for the shifter detents don't match exactly the transmission's detents. But lets say that isn't your problem. Loosen the lock nuts on either end of the shaft. Place the shifter in the middle..say H. and adjust so both detents have no pressure on then in either direction. The transmission's are all important. Next move the shifter to either side and see if all the detents on the shifter are lined up with the transmission's. If not, compromise a little or do what I did, with a multipurpose tool, adjust the plastic on the shifter's detents to match with the transmission's. Its more of a widening of the 'V's a little.

Nothing is harder on the shifter forks the having it pop out of gear so..doing this is doing yourself a favor.

My new 17 z did that same thing.  Mine was dust binding the slider in shifter  . It would go in low and then pop out as soon as any throttle was given.. .. My fix was to pull the nylon slider out of its two guides.. No more bind and no more popping out of gear

I'm thinking it's something to do with the motor mounts because I can move the motor side to side with one hand and clunks at low speeds when taking off

I'll guess motor mounts, steel tab spot welds broken off.
This was a known flaw in early production.

When saying a 2016 is a early model flaw ??  Seems like 2016 was yesterday to me lol.  Engine mounts tabs shearing off ,, you would think engineers would have fixed long before then

Let me reword that, there was a batch of bad motor mounts that when through, the spot welds looked good but later seperate.
