I made one with pins to start with. With a rusty nut and some force, it broke. This is my new one.

hope it works. We have our first camping/riding trip next week. I'm also hoping that my dealer gets the parts I need in the next day or two or the Z6 is staying home.

I ended up taking the most of the plastic off and the battery box out to get an impact on it. I did find about 10lbs of dirt in and under the battery box. The iron baltic skid plates don't have drainage in that section. I drilled four 1/2" holes under it. Hope that does the trick.
