So I pick my zforce 800 trail up from the dealer today...get it home and turn it on and let it warm up for 10 minutes...Get in to drive around the subdivision and I hit 16 mph and it stalls out and almost shuts down...wont go past 16mph...Up to that point it does fine, I hit 16 mph and it stalls out!!!! Am I missing anything here or did I get a dud? I am thinking I so should have went with a polaris.

What happens when you have it in neutral and pick up the RPMs? Some who have installed the TwinAir have over-oiled it and it sucks-shut at above 3K.

I just tested it in neutral and it does fine far above 3k rpm. I locked in the 4wheel drive and held the over ride button and it went past 16 - up to 22-23. I unlocked 4wheel and tried in regular 4 wheel and 2 wheel and it continues to stall at 16mph, even when I attempted to hold the overide button.

NEVER JUMP TO CONCLUSION....lol, The GM of the dealership called me and troubleshot it...Realized I needed to buckle my seat belt before driving other wise the new 2018's will stall out. Built in safety feature...All is good.

Wow.  That's not a great feature.  As someone who uses their machine for ice fishing that would be a big inconvenience.

BTW Polaris has that same seatbelt switch.  At least on the rangers, as far as ice fishing goes.  Get a seat belt extender from your local car dealership.  Or just the clip from a junk yard.  OR just go 16 on the ice. Lol

I would imagine this would be a simple system to bypass much like bike side stand kill switches, 2 wires to some sort of switch that is activated when seat belt is clipped in, disconnect wires from switch and connect the 2 wires together and it will probably bypass that system, must be a way as many people bin the stock belts and fit 4 or 5 points.

There is, I think it was Super ATV that makes a seatbelt bypass for it.

My first ride on a 4 seat Polaris was my intro into side by sides. My sister insisted i take my wife out in it while she rode with her husband in his turbo general.. I could not get that sucker to run past 15-20 mph at all..  After they stopped and i finally caught up to them they told me about the seat belt after i told her her ride was slow as crap..lol

i feel that would happen to me too.
mine comes with the 4 point seat harness, so no problems there

I have the Zforce 500. Mine did the same thing when I installed the harnesses. My fix was to cut the seat belt wires and connect them together. The seatbelt light on the dash went off, and I was back to full power. Problem fixed.

In Europe 99 % of the drivers take of without even unpacking the manual.
