Bought a C Force 800, my first ATV with a CVT transmission. Is water in cover common if you ride in deep water? I see a drain bolt in cover according to the owners manual, can't seem to locate it on the machine. Looking at some can am forums it's appears to be a common occurrence. Looking for advice, should I fabricate a drain system for the cover, concerned about hurting the system if it's prone to water seeping in. I do try to avoid deep water but when riding in Northern Maine sometimes it is unavoidable.
I have a Honda Rincon 650 (as well) never had an issue, just concerned with the brand new CF800. I like to keep my equipment nice and well maintained.

It's a small bolt at the bottom of the cover. It only gets water in there if you go over the air vent intake or it's exhaust. People snorkel for that reason as will as the engine air intake.

Good news is I've never gotten that deep in water. Thanks for your help.

The intake for the city is fairly high. If you get water in there, check the fittings for the ducts for leaks.
