Reliability
« on: July 26, 2016, 03:22:09 PM »
Hi all
Just joined And introduced myself
I live in Ireland and it's a small country
There is one dealer and we don't have a choice
There is no chance to drive one before I buy one

My alternative is a Polaris ranger which I have driven

Don't want to sound like a fool

Can members here help me to make up my mind ?

Obviously the cost saving is significant going with cf Moto

Do you guys find reliability of cf tracker 800 as good as that of a Polaris ?

Just need some assurance that's all

Thanks

Patrick

Parts don't seem to be a problem for us in the states. Might make sure you can get what you need. I have the z6 and it has mostly been good. A broken bolt on a differential mount was the only thing that has made it sit. Otherwise most issues have been small. Go over it and check the bolts when you get it home and you should be just fine. Polaris has issues too but I can't bash them too.

The tracker, or Uforce as we call it in the states, is pretty much cfmotos version of the Polaris general. Not sure the price difference there but here Polaris generals run $15K-$20K and the Uforce/Tracker EPS is $10,799.
The general IS a 1000cc with 100hp while the Uforce/Tracker is 800cc 63hp.
Warranties are better with to Cfmoto , company has been very accommodating to me.
All machines have their pros and cons, but I think the Uforce/Tracker will do and would hold up just as well as the general, depending how you treat it.

Wonderful
Tthhank you so much
The price difference is huge here between Polaris and cfmoto
Now I know what to expect there iss nothing more to ask
I will order a tracker 800
For what I need there is no mods required
I know boring. ...but it's going to be a work horse and a hunting vehicle

Love a lift kit and bigger wheels and tyres but I know it won't change performance a bit

Bigger tires will get you more ground clearance, but you will need to adjust the clutches for them. If it fits your needs as-is all the better. There is plenty of info here for you when you get it home and start poking at it and have some questions.
