Quadzilla Rs6 wont Start
« on: December 18, 2017, 04:58:40 AM »
Hey Everyone,
I have a quadzilla Rs6 and I wanted to go up into the woods where i live but unfortunately my quad wont start up.
When I put the key and turn it nothing happens. I have checked the battery and the relay and they seem to be fine. There is no loose connection either. I do not know what is wrong with it. Anyone have any ideas?

If "nothing happens", including no dash lights and such, and the battery is truly OK and all connections are tight, then I would check the fuses first.

After that, it's time to start trouble shooting the wiring from the battery to the ignition switch and checking that the grounds are tight.

Is your run or kill switch in the run position?  Sounds crazy, but common mistake.

Do the lights come on when the key is on? (assuming you have any) If so do they stay on when you try to start it? If so you probably have a bad starter or a bad big wire connection. If they come on and then go out instantly when you try to start it then you probably have a bad big wire connection even if they all seem tight. Loosen each one, move it a bit, and tighten it again, then try it.
If nothing works at all then put a voltmeter across that battery and like the guy says, check fuses or breakers.
I'm not familiar with that machine so I can't say any more right now.

When I turn the key the quad does nothing. No lights show up on the dash. I've changed all the fuses and I've checked the battery and the wires that follow towards the ignition switch and no breaks.

If you have power to the ignition but then no output when the ignition is turned on, that would tell you the ignition itself isn't working. If no power to the ignition you';; have to trace it back until you find power.

You checked the wires and connections but did you loosen them, move each around, and re-tighten them? A big amp connection can seem tight but still be a bad connection.
