I was able to finally post the 5 year limited warranty right from CF MOTO, if anyone would like to download it. BTW it is the Canadian version but I don't think that there would be too much different!

As I understand it, One years on everything and the 5-year limited power train warranty is only in Canada. In the states its only the 1-year. At least this was what was stated to me when I bought mine.

That's correct.  U.S. models have a 1-year warranty and the 5-year is Canadian.

No need to remove it.  The more information, the better.

Two years in Australia.

Here in the US since we only get a one year warrentee I choose to buy an additional 3 1/2 year extended warrentee for an additional $1250.   I had a problem with my first machine needing an axle shaft and a new diffential, price, $2000.  I figured when I traded for my Zforce I would add more warrentee if parts are that expensive.  I hope that turns out to be worth the additional cost and I do like having 4 1/2 yrs. of coverage.

From what was explained to me, the additional 4 years that the canadians offer is not factory, its from a 3rd party company that they have factored into their pricing.

In the US, CFMoto-US is actually OWNED by the factory, where as in other countries, they are independent distributors. In Canada, they are called CMI.
