Hi folks, let me say what a great forum we have here, awesome stuff. I am in the market for a utv and my wife and I checked out the zforce 800 at out local Yamaha dealership. It looks and feels like a great machine and the one we are looking at comes with loads of options they put on it. BUT!!! I think ive only spoke to one owner here locally and they like it, but everyone I talk to say stay the hell away!!! I know the other brands are awesome bikes and would be proud to own one but the price point is so good with the CF moto!!

Welcome to the forum Todd. Most of us are and/or were in the same boat. Would live to have a 17-25K UTV but we weren't looking for something to use professionally or all day-everyday in extreme conditions. With the options these come with and reviewing the known issues they started off with, most of us went a head and did it. CFMoto does review issues every three months and corrects them in production in most cases so the 2016s will be better then the 2015s and so on. I will just jump in and say that all of these, regardless of manufacturer, have some issues and CFMoto does have theirs. But as long as you see these things in advance and make your own corrections, they are not a big deal. They are a pretty tough machine but they are Chinese made which means there are some areas where production costs were a focus over quality. I ride ATVs but like you I bought mine to spend more time with the wife. There are some dos and don't like any other and CFMoto will stand behind it better then most all others so..give all the posts an good read even the How Tos, upgrade the airfilter before it even leaves the dealership, change the oil in everything sooner then they suggest..like before 150 miles the first time and go over every bolt and nut you can get to make sure it is to spec. Otherwise common sense will take you and the wife for many long, trouble-free miles. Its a good value for the money.  And be safe!

Thank you so much for the reply!! The bike we are looking at is 15 plus tax!! so not that cheap, but to compare it to the wolverine sitting beside it  at 16 grand but with no winch, no roof and etc!!! The only other bike we were looking at was a arctic cat trail, nice little bike. So thanks again and I will let you know what we decide, again I love the forum. Nice. That's the 53"..same as I have..except I don't have the doors or the windshields. Just a 1/2 windshield.  I paid 10,800usd down here for it.

Welcome Todd! What NMKAWIERIDER said!  I put on more than a thousand miles on my 53" this summer. No major issues. It is built in China but the transmission is built in Canada. Also the German company KTM bought into CFMOTO in October 2014! KTM is a huge player in the motorcycle industry. If they felt it was going to be a problem, I think they wouldn't have invested their time or money into this company!

With CF Moto Canada Factory Pricing event still in effect, the 2015 ZForce 800 53in without EPS should be going for 10.995 + $ 995.00 for freight and delivery costs before tax. That would be without the windshield, doors and back glass. The extra accessories add another 1675.00 to the cost before tax.

And I think these US versions don't have all the goodies the Canadian versions have. This one as you see also had the turn signals, doors, rock sliders, hitch and both full windshields.  We don't get all that unless we special order it...and some we can't get.  Sure don't get that 5-year warranty.

The Canadian CF Moto 2016 model year only come with (1) one full year of warranty, if you want the additional (5) years of warranty you have to pay extra for it.

Its high because that unit has a full door set, the stickers, full windshield, rear windshield, rock slides... its got thousands of dollars extra in accessories. Really, $15k isnt bad at all for that unit.

typically, when you hear someone say stay the hell away, they are fan boys who've never driven anything other than what they own (Polaris guys seem to be the worst in this area), and have no idea what they are talking about. They have no first hand, or even second hand experience with them. Ignore the blow hards, and seek the opinion from those who own or have owned one.

As others have said, take a look through the forum. There is a LOT of great information here. I am a dealer for these guys, and have had LOADS of success, as have my customers. A few minor issues was all i've dealt with this year. One major issue with my personal unit, which CFMoto took care of. They even flew a corporate rep down to see the issues, and to personally apologize for it. You'll never get the service myself and my customers get from another brand.

As someone whos been in this industry since 2002, and a rider my whole life, I can tell you these have FAR less issues than most of the big dogs. Polaris is a HUGE offender of product quality, and warranty claims. I work on more Polaris ATVs and UTVs than any other brand, and a lot of these issues are things that should never go wrong, especially in units less than 2 years old.

Grab that ZForce, you will not be let down.

Totally agree.
Of my three CFMoto's, the only warranty problem I had was a leaking waterpump seal that was fixed without quibble. Very happy customer and would happily buy more.
