Picking up a 600 Touring in a few Weeks
« on: January 07, 2022, 08:26:03 AM »
New user here. Been researching ATVs for the past few years and have finally settled on a 2021 CFORCE 600 Touring. The decision was based mainly on value, availability, and mostly positive feedback that I have heard about them. I bought one in New Hampshire, a velocity grey model, which he tells me is a 21 by VIN but a 22 by model. Im picking it up in 2 weeks. They charged me the $6899 MSRP plus $1,000 between freight, set up, and doc. Because I'm buying it in NH, there is no sales tax so that saved me a close to $500. Most other dealers in Connecticut and Mass that I talked to are charging $7299 MSRP for the "late model 21s". I also added a 5 year CFMOTO Care (1 year factory + 4 year extended warranty) for $850 and a rear cargo box as well as a set of flex grip gun mounts. I typically go for extended warranties on stuff like this figuring that I will have some issue at some point within 5 years and a trip to the dealer for a major issue could cost well over $1,000. There are close to 15 dealerships within a 3.5 hour radius (2 within 45 minutes, 5 within an hour) of me that are all reputable powersports dealers with service departments. I called close to every one of those dealers and they told me they have been having great luck with CFMoto and you can't beat the value. I asked about parts availability and they said that all parts are hard to get right now, even for the major brands but the situation is improving.

Out the door, I am around $3500 less than an equivalent Polaris and I would have had to wait 3-5 months to get one from a dealer. Furthermore, I know that Polaris has their share of issues, too. We have some property in Maine. The primary use will be light duty trail riding. No mudding or abuse. I am pretty diligent about maintenance and taking care of my stuff. I hope that I am making the right choice and will be happy with my purchase.

Congratulations.   Sounds like you are making a good choice to me.  I do similar riding.  Smooth trails, no mudding, no technical riding, no jumps , no abuse.  I came from a world of Suzuki%u2019s (Vinsons and King Quad 750s).  I%u2019m used to reliability and Quite frankly would be staying with a Suzuki if they made side-by-side%u2019s. I made a decision to go with CF Moto for similar reasons that you did. I think you%u2019ll be fine with it.  I ordered a 2022 Z force 950 HO And can%u2019t wait for it to arrive.

By any chance was the dealer that you purchased it from full throttle power sports?

Welcome , nice machine be sure to check all the nuts bolts before riding. mine had several suspension bolts loose on the front. Other than the loose bolts everything else has been good to go.
