Picking out a new CForce 400 or 500 model?
« on: March 05, 2025, 07:26:28 PM »
This might be obvious to most folks and only prove that I'm a knucklehead, but...

When I brought home my brand new 2025 CForce 500 last month, the first thing I wanted to get was a trailerable cover, as my trailer is an open type.  I learned previously with a snowmobile about how totally covered with grime, road salt, and dirt something can get on an uncovered/unshielded trailer during the winter and spring.  i picked out a nice trailerable ATV cover from CarCovers and I'm pleased with it.

Then, within a week, I decided to order front and rear rack extenders and a pair of rear-view mirrors for the CF 500.  They arrive tomorrow.   Then, I guess I'll find out if I spent money on a cover that will no longer fit the machine with the new accessories installed!  Oops!   :-[  (The cover seems like it's cut a bit large, so maybe I'll be lucky...)

Just have to see... And I always thought a "Trailer-able Cover" only meant a cover that can stay on while traveling. It doesn't mean it won't wear the paint while the wind flops it against the surface. Here if you want a true trailerable cover, you buy an enclosed trailer. But we do have a lot more dust and sand then others so I would be interested in your results.

The cover still fits!   :)

With rack extenders and then with rear-view mirrors...

I leave mine covered with trail grime or snow until I get home. It forms a protective coating til you get home and wash it off . . .  :-*  ;D

Tracks are a blast . . expect to look like an abominable snowquad in short order however . .
