I am looking at adding a particle separator and was hoping some of you have added one and which one you added to your utv? I have a 2021 ZForce 800 EX and cannot find one from either S&B or KWT that fits this particular year of model. Also which one would you recommend? The KWT looks larger and takes more space than the S&B. Are there any videos or has anyone posted on how to install one and the alterations one would need to make. I have used the cardboard method to enclose the intake inside the cab, but want to do something better and these seem to work from all the videos I have watched. Also can you attach the ctv hose to the separator.

I also have done much research in particle separators, namely the S&B and the KWT. At first I likes the KWT as it didn't use power or a fan but it doesn't dump well and has to be cleaned out at times and as I need it to fit the center area and get its air from over the roof line, it presented a problem. The S&B for the Yamaha YXZ however met all the needs in that it was self cleaning, center discharge and met the roof line needs. As well that the S&B told me that it would provide far more air then both the engine and CVT system would ever need. And my calculations confirmed that as well. I built my system over time to mount the S&B as planned and while waiting to save-up enough for that least purchase, I topped it off temporarily with a Donaldson Top Spin prefilter/separator. This worked so well, taking 70+% of the dust out it allowed me to ride all week without cleaning my filters...I have one on each outside intake, that I put the S&B on the back burner for now. $400 bucks is hard to justify if you really don't need it. I will do it someday, just have other things to focus on right now. Some pics of my setup to date..although I had to shorten it all after I did my cage chop mod.
When done the S&B will look something like this mounted:
