Might be a drain on it somewhere. I don't know how to test for that. Mine is doing that now. Leave it sit a week and it's dead.

charge the battery. disconnect the negative lead, place a test light or amp meter between the negative battery terminal and the negative battery cable. if the light lights up or the amp meter shows a draw over like .1 amp start pulling fuses until the draw goes away or test lamp goes out, then you know what ckt the draw is on, go from there. It can also be a bad battery so first I would get the battery tested, or swap for a known good one.

Yes, this should be step-#1 anyway just to know where it is. One that I need to do too cause if I leave mine off the tender for a week, it takes more then a day to fully charge back up. I think its pod-related like the clock but it seems like a little much.

So I pulled the battery the read 12.1 on the meter trickle charged it for a couple of hours put the battery back in nothing would just click so got on the phone with the dealership again he told me to pull the fuses so did that also pulled all of them and put new ones in still nothing so I boosted it with my truck started right up ran for 30 second then died and would start. I told the sales guy to drive the two hours down here and pick it up. still a little pissed as we were supposed to be out riding this week glad we didn't and this happened in the bush.

Have him just bring a battery. If that's it... then you are still headed for the trail.

Might be time to put some small jumper cables in your gear.

Sounds like a bad battery.  A junk battery can still hold 12 volts but have no amperage to crank over an engine, that's why battery testers are load testers,  they read the drop in the battery with a load on it.

My battery failed at 13 months.  Replacement was $160 :(  , at least they had one in stock.

"kind of want to take it back and say give me a new one"

It's brand new. Why not just drop it off at the dealership and have them fix it under warranty?

Dont know why you would pay 160 for a battery either.  YUSA battery that is 100x better is like $80 locally
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

I was having the same trouble with my 16' but I figured it is my stereo. I have since bought a battery tender. You can hard wire the leads and it has a disconnect so that you don't have to continually pull off the battery cover.  If I'm not going to be riding mine for a week or so I will plug it the battery tender to let it charge. I do always carry a jumper box with me on the trails just in case though.
