People use them but let me say this: Hyflow also makes a 152 which is actually for the Rotax 800 and there is a slight difference in the nipple size it slides onto. Enough that some bypassing will happen with the Hyflow 152. I don't know personally how the K&N actually fits but I do know about the Hyflow. If the K&N states it's for the CFM 800, then it's probably OK. Otherwise I would not use it. If anyone has measurements on the stock filter and nipple maybe we can compare to the K&N and get this figured out so nobody is putting their machines at risk of blow-by or damage
