It appears I have a leak between the motor and the front differntial. Is there any information on how to replace...or how difficult it is to replace that gasket?

Thank You!

If by motor you mean the actuator, there is an O-ring that sets into a grove of the case that the controller makes contact with when slid-in. The problem with many...mine being one..is that the groove cut in the case isn't even. In my case the bottom was cut deep enough that no part of the o-ring made it past the edge letting the oil just pass by. I found this after ordering a new O-ring and pulling the bolts that held it on. I use the new O-ring but cleaned up everything and put a little RTV on the out-board side of the O-ring and on the outer edge of the case so it would seal to the actuator. It worked. Don't bother trying to remove the wires, just make enough slack in the harness.  The pic below shows one with the actuator off. You can see the O-ring in it's groove. Drain the oil before taking it off...or at least get the front end up really high.
