2018 ZForce, my winch quit working. No power to the plug connector on the dash, checked all fuses, nothing blown. Where does this thing get it's power from ? Nothing on the legend on the fuse / relay box indicates winch any point in the right direction would be appreciated thanks

Although the main motor cables are not fused, on the older ones, the control power comes from system ACC power through the fuse box and as I recall, it is labeled as 2/wd,4/wd motor power for some reason...don't ask me why because it does not connect to it at all.. and is a 10 amp fuse

Ok I finally got back to it, I have no power to the solenoid for the winch. Is there anything in line between the battery and the solenoid that would prevent this from having power ?? All battery connections are clean and tight, it starts fine and everything else works

Follow the dash plug back. At least two will go to the solenoid but one will go to systems power. It may go straight back to the fuse box but there will be at least one connector between. It's not unheard of that Chinese connectors fail..or rather becomes open on any lead with 3 or more amps draw especially or one that had gotten wet at one time or another. Heck I found a one volt drop between sides on one of the connectors on my ACC plug. Haven't fixed that yet but just shows the quality level.
