Been seeing on the news that parts of N M are on fire.My first thought was about N M K
and hoping that he was ok and safe.
I hate to see these fires destroy and take every ones all they have busted thier hump for.But loss of life in these fires is worse ,stuff can be replaced.
My heart goes out to these people and others.

We are safe here in Albuquerque.. but it's hart breaking for us as when we loose forests here, much of it never comes back..just adding to the ever-increasing deserts. The big one in the south that's causing the evacuation of Ruidoso you see in the news is on the Northern end of the Lincoln National forest, where I did my first ride video last year when we camped on the Southern end. The only oasis in a sea of hot, dry desert..really close to white sands NM. The other in the north is right in our favorite camping area, Gallina NM where well over 11 thousand acres of forest has burned and is still burning. We had planned to go there on our last trip but the fires prevented that so we diverted to Jemez. May be nothing left when its done. So sad..but fortunately no loss of life so far as I know.

Looks like the Gallina fire is finally out.Also looks like there are some new ones as well...
