Yep, I know.  This isn't exactly snow plow season right now.  That said, I have a 2017 Z800 trail (50" width) and thinking about adding a snow plow next winter.  What size/width of snow plow is recommended for this fine beast?  52 inch?  60 inch?  Recommended (or not) manufacturers?  Things to keep in mind?  Do's and Don'ts?  Thanks in advance!  Ride on!!

As far as size, make sure the plow will cover the width of the machine when tipped. I had one that was too narrow and when pushing snow off to the side, the tires would pack snow on me. I've also mangled so mounts too. Not sure how they mount for the z8, but keep it's welfare in mind, and maybe remove it for summer.
