I just picked up a 500 sxs cmoto.  I am gettingit ready for licensing it for the road.  Where is the battery.  The dealership didn't have the manuals for me as it is a second hand unit and they are on the way.  I only have to put blinkers on it and they just came in. 

Ok, as I don't have the manuals I am asking you experienced cmoto ridres to give me some help.

Do you have any gettoghters around the country?  I am with a TW200 forum and do rides across the country.  I am hoping to find som 4 wheel fun with folks.

You've come to a good place. If your exact manual isn't here for downloading (free) then there's one close enough for many things.

Welcome. Yeah you can get the owner's manual from the CFM site glenlivet posted and I believe we have the Z500s service manual under it's section. Also the battery is probably in the same spot as the Z800's which is behind a cover on the front side of the driver's rear wheel well.
