I have lost the key to my 2004 freedom  250 scooter, can you guide me as to how to remove the ignition lock so I can take it to a locksmith to get a key made? would it be easier to remove the lock from the fuel fill door? all help will be appreciated. Also is it possible to get the steering lock lock off if I get the switch out? I know this is a odd set of questions but I have no other way to find out. Would anyone have a switch and key that would work that I could buy? JT Derr

have a good locksmith come out to you or bring the buggy to them and they can make the key they have tools they can use you don't need to tear everything apart

Try using the ignition key to unlock the steering but if it doesn't work then call for an automotive lock smith to unlock it.
