I'm a bit baffled. I watched this episode with a speech by CF Moto CEO Mark Rivers, and watched the later brand presentations that looked quite good, then I went back again to the Mark Rivers blurb and had the same reaction as I'd had the first time, which is 'What the hell did he just say?'
The host set him up beautifully with a great lead-in stating "CF Moto is an emerging brand that's breaking pre-concieved notions about Chinese built off road machines". Nice.
Then this Mark Rivers heads off on some tangent about how he 'needs to become more important to his dealers' and to 'help them see a path forward that is more relevant to them' (whaaaat?), and something about a problem he has with dealer booking conferences (great, open your brand promoting speech with a negative) and how such a conference is an invitation to ride with them so they'll be 'the most profitable dealership in the industry.'
Really? Is that what buyers and potential buyers want to hear, how profitable is the dealership from which they are considering buying a machine?
Sure, he's preaching to dealerships, but is that the right speech to be making on a forum mostly read by consumers? Hardly a thing in this guys halting and awkward presentation is said about CF Moto machines, there are no specifics at all in the way the other brands showed. His moment at the mic was wasted in vague prattling about dealers, profits, and their efforts to improve their quality. If I didn't already have and really like my CF Moto, watching this might have chased me away.

I'm thinking Mark Rivers should consider hiring a front man, and a speech writer. I don't think this one helped his employer much.
