besides doing the clutches,snorkels,exhaust,fuel programmer in a z800 what are your thoughts on making more power? is there anybody offering a big bore kit? i saw there was another forum on so little power in the z1000  was just wondering if anybody else out there knows.

There is no other power adders out there.  People have toyed with turbo and polish and porting the heads but the general thought is the internals are not strong enough to handle the added power.  No proof one way or the other on it but that is the general thought

I'd toss a programmer and some nitrous on it and see what happens. =D

But really, the race kit they well for it has a wet clutch delete and I think an exhaust and programmer. The wet clutch delete helps, I think that is the main weak link. I would do that if you want to race, then I would toy with the idea of low boost turbo and see if you can retard the timing. If the pistons aren't made of complete crap it should hold a few psi fine. I dunno about the bottom end but hell if you are that into it I'm sure you could find a fun replacement engine from something else then throw the turbo on that
