Has anyone modified the CF Moto Canada doors for the Z to use regular slam latches instead of the spring post gate style latches that come with them?  Looking for any ideas.

best latches I have found are bear claw latches from Autoloc.  Double claw latch with 2 stages of latching on both claws and for all the jumping and beating I did on those I NEVER had one loosen or release even one latching stage.  I just gave them a shot of oil/WD40 once a year and they were good to go.  No squeaks or rattles or anything.  Just to address the original question I didnt replace the CF Moto latches with these and it may take a bit of fabrication to get them to work with it.  But I will never buy another kind of door latches....EVER.
