Let me ask you if you know the answer. Is this drop in pressure for a few seconds every once in awhile doing damage you think? Just asking cause I've been putting alot of time on it diagnosing

For the few seconds it drops under 10psi it shouldn't hurt it as long as it is normal under load or higher RPMs. I run 10w40...always have with no issues. I'd say replace the switch and just keep an eye on it for now. The fact that it runs with normal pressures most of the time say the engine is OK. Just that something else is effecting pressure under that one condition.

Good morning. I also have the same problem on my two zforce 800ex units. I bought them second hand with 80 miles, mine had had a frontal accident where they changed the oil and water cooler. The oil pilot light comes on when you are on a steep slope, up or down, in my wife's unit the same thing happens, but not always. I am waiting to receive the Uni filters, following your advice, and I will change the oil. These days I will try mine first, do an oil pressure test.
Waiting for the information from your dealer, and the solution they offer for your unit.
A greeting!.

Be sure to check the cable on the back of the display. On an cf force 800 atv that had abut the same symptoms the cable in the back of the display had almoust slippt out and caused it to loose contact somethimes and the ligth came on.

I'll have the dealer check the cable. But I think it might be something actually wrong. Cause when I hooked my pressure tester up to it, it dropped to zero while hard braking still

Good morning, this morning I checked the oil pressure, in my two zforce800ex, at idle 1250rpm in the cold only start at 25psi, with the temperature at its point, at 1250rpm it has a constant pressure of 35psi and increasing rpm to 3000-3200 raises the pressure over almost 50psi. I found that the sensor terminal was a little loose. everything tight, need to try it uphill !!.

Did you try this yet? Did it resolve the issue?

well the dealership had my utv for a month and told me it was the pressure switch. Took it home and it didn't take me 5 min of driving to get the oil pressure light to come on again.  So frustrating cause I'm very particular with my equipment as far as keeping it in the garage and stuff and they had it sitting outside for a month. Im not sure what to do next. I hace  a feeling they'll want to tear into the motor next to find the issue. Which makes me nervous especially because its still like brand new.

Just had pressure tester hooked up while ridding around and it does drop below 10 sometimes.  So maybe it's not the switch
Where can i get a oil pressure gauge to check mine?
