The cutout blanks just pop out. Just slip something in along the edges and pry gently. Also afterwards if you will remove the hood, then the storage tray, you can get to most anything behind the dash from there. On mounting, you will have to mount the light to something solid like the roll cage and that means going through the plastic to get to it. I bought bar mount clamps, positioned them to line up with the light bar mount, then drilled through the plastic sandwiching the plastic between the two. Drilling holes in the cage does weaken them and is not recommended....although I'm sure some have. That's why the clamp mounts are better. However the CFM bar material is an off size, larger then 1.5" and smaller then 1.75" so get clamps that fit 1.5" with rubber inserts that can be sanded down a little to fit the 1.62" of the CFM bar in front.

When I wired mine in, I just pulled the bottom piece below the switches for access. 4 bolts and your in. Also my light bar had movable mounts so I was able to go directly to the roof tabs on the roll bar

Yup, just take off that bottom panel and you have complete access to all the switches.  I personally went through the plastic roof.  I'll text you the pics.

Hey all - Just got a 2016 Zforce 800 this week, and am trying to wire up a 33" light bar using a MICTUNING 5 pin rocker switch.  My biggest question so far is what the safest/best way to run the wiring, and whether there's an accessory electrical panel somewhere.  I found the links to the service manual and wiring diagram, but they honestly aren't making this too clear to me so far.  I'd like to wire the lower LED of the rocker switch into the dash lights, but not sure where to tie into the dash wiring to do that.

I was debating if it's worth drilling into the roll bars to run the wires, but think I might just zip tie it for now - anyone have links to a step-by-step guide for the Z800 with pictures - would be a big help!

Thanks!

I use the accessory plug power wires for all extras. Its safe and fused. You can get to it by taking out the storage tray up front. As for the switch LED, that circuit is also keyed power just like the others so you can just jump it to the LED post. I believe I have a post in the How To on an override switch that is also a 5-pin that I have the wiring diagram posted on as well.
