Lift may not be that important.
« on: September 01, 2016, 12:51:39 AM »
We're all thinking or have lifted our buggy's , with the exception of trail riding over rocks and logs seeing this Komodo 1000 makes me think lifting isn't the real issue as far as weight displacement.

Maybe I'm wrong but this thing doesn't sit very high.

I think the clearance is close to the same as a stock EX. It just looks lower because it's longer and wider. That mud is not very deep. When the mud gets deeper, a lift is a nice thing to have. Keeping the skid plate out the mud as much as possible makes a big difference. Like you said, it helps with rocks and logs too.
