I have a 2021 cforce 800, i am really liking it, except for downhills.  When I go down hills it kicks out of gear and goes into neutral.  Is this normal?  Can it be fixed?  It don't matter if im in high gear or low.  Is there an after market clutch that will fix it?  Anything at all that can fix this problem?

Not normal. If it physically kicks out of gear..as in you have to use the shifter to place it back into a position, either the linkage needs adjustment or there is a bent shifter fork in the transmission. If you are referring to the lack of engine brake, there may be a problem with the one-way bearing or belt. Both can easily be inspected. But know even at best, you will only have engine brake down to where the speed and engine idle RPMs cross which is about 5-7mph

Sounds just like mine before I adjusted the shifter linkage.

Mine is a 2021 zforce 800 ex so it might differ slightly from the other ones. I removed my seats, shifter knob, center plastics and plastic panel behind the passenger seat. The cable is connected to the bottom of the shifter and the transmission with a ball and socket end style connector. Behind those connections is a lock nut I backed the lock nut off a few turns while holding the shifter rod so it wouldn't move. Next I put the machine in neutral using the shifter. I noticed a lot of slop in the linkage. I could wiggle it back and forth about a quarter inch each way. I just turned the center shifter rod in the linkage to take the slip out. I didn't go tight, just turned it by hand until it was free of play in neutral. I then checked how it went into all of the gears. That's all mine needed. Mine would jump out of Low on deceleration making it grind. Hasn't done it since the adjustment. Tighten up the lock nuts and put it all back together. I'm sure some need more adjustment than others but that's where I started and it worked. It's so common that my dealer said he checks it on customers first services weather they are having a problem or not.

Isn't the Cforce a belt slammer CVT? (dry clutch) . With that design falls out of engine braking mode on a downhill when revs drop below lockup RPM and all of a sudden at that point it's freewheeling. You need to rev it a bit (counter intuitive I know) to re engage the belt and get engine braking back until it happens again. 
That's one of my biggest peeves with a dry clutch.
On the CF Moto 800 ex and 800 trail it has a wet clutch and a one way clutch so engine braking never goes away, as I demo here:

I just experienced something like this on my 2021 800XC, but I didn't note my speed. I was going down a steep hill and the engine brake was keeping me in nice control, then suddenly it was freewheeling and I had to engage some more braking, kind of freaked me out a little. I'll have to note my speed next time.

When it does that kicking out of gear trick, try giving the throttle a blip and see if it re-engages drive. If it does then that's normal for a dry clutch machine. Not nice, but normal.

I learned something very interesting the other day. Not all "non-wet clutched" CFM machines have one-way bearings or overriding clutches in the CV-Tech primaries. Some just have standard bearings. The 800Xc is one. Look up the part- if it says Overriding clutch, its one one-way but if it says just "Bearing" or "Bearing CVTech", its just an idler bearing for the belt and that machine has no added engine braking other then what it has while the primary is engaged to the belt. 

Looks like the 400s,500s & 600s have the one-ways but anything larger.. like the 800s and 950s and 1000s do not.

Now that's curious! I want to wrap my head around why a dry clutch machine would need or benefit from having a one way/overriding clutch at all. This may take a while.

Well, they do first benefit from having an idler bearing so the belt doesn't just ride on a spinning spindle like..say..the Kawasaki's. So having a bearing there, although just makes one more thing to wear out has that going for it. Now making that bearing a spragg or one way makes it use the bottom of the belt to hold..at least some connection between the secondary and the crankshaft down to the speed falls below the idle speed of the crank. Kawasaki uses an electronic system to hold the primary in against the belt until it gets below 3mph..same thing..kinda..except the Kawasaki's system used the sides of the belt against the sheaves..like it should where the CFM's sprag uses the bottom of the belt where normally there isn't load pressure. Does work..until the belt or spragg starts having a problem. I assume it's because of the heavier machines and/or higher HP that they don't put them on the larger machines.     

Oh.. and without one of these or some system to keep the belt engaged, as soon as the primary releases the belt it will free-wheel...and that's usually between 8-12mph depending on the weights and/or springs used.

My 2022 Cforce 600T will slow down with engine braking just about to a complete stop.
If I'm going downhill, I usually have to throw it in 4wd because engine braking in 2wd will lock the rear tires!

I wish it was slightly less aggressive.

Did you get any usefull tips so far? It happens to my U Force 1000 XL when I go below 10 km/h, and I got spooked. Please share if you have found the answer to that problem. Thx!

They can pop out of gear for two main reasons. The first and most common is that it isn't or has nor seated completely in gear. Reasons for that are linkage adjustment ir damaged shift fork. The other must common reason is excessive engine movement from loose engine mounts or lost rubber in the mounts causing it to pull against the shifter gate and pull out of gear.  Set your linkage first as this is the most common. Center it in the neutral position.
