So I have 2 cfmotos now! Yay! but the cforce600 touring definitely behaves different than my zforce800. I guess the best way I can explain it is almost feels like it does not shift and stays revving high when going 20-30mph power feels like its delivered mid to high range when I start getting on the throttle while the zforce800 is all low end.

I also have a polaris 570 and it runs at a much lower RPM I believe when going at those speeds, i mean it still revs but not like the cforce600. the best explenation is it feels like its in 1st or 2nd gear revving pretty up there at 20ish mph. I am just not entirely sure if the cforce600 characteristics are just that way? unless that is just how the cvt transmissions are? but I believe my zforce800 has cvt as well.

anyone on here with a cforce600 where it also rides and behaves that way? pretty much in the revs and "feels" like it is not shifting?

There has been lots of talk about the 600s and some 500HOs running in extremely high (as compared to others) RPMs. The thought is that in order to get the reported engine horse power numbers, they had to clutch it to run starting in the 3K range and up. People have addressed this with either a lighter spring in the primary or gone with heavier flyweights...some even both. This brings the operation back down to what's considered more normal. Then addressed the secondary clocking if necessary.

great thank you, so in other words its pretty normal for cforce600 and wont really harm anything then? as long as it does not harm anything, I am good with it

Others that have had this question have taking it back to their dealer and were told it was normal. However, I see there are some videos out there with the new 600s that don't seem to be running that high. It might be a good idea ...to be on the safe side..to have the dealer check and confirm it's OK.

If the 600 is running between 4500 and 5500 rpm's, then it is normal. That is where the powerband is for this model machine. It's weird at first but I got used to it.
