How well does the 800 zforce trail fit in truck bed
« on: October 10, 2020, 06:14:58 PM »
I had questions my self that nobody could answer. So I am posting this for help. I have a 2001 Dodge ram. Box is 6 ft 4 inches closed. Tailgate down is another 2 ft.

And with that much weight out on the outer end of the tailgate one would be wise to get a set of...or build a set of.. extra supports. Those cables and their mounts will only take so much...and when they go, it just may unload your Z onto the road. Yes, it has happened.

This company makes a great set but I copied their design and built my own:

Before I bought a trailer I would back mine in, seemed to keep a little more weight more forward and a little less off the gate straps, it’s a 500 but it’s gotta be pretty close in weight
