I may need to replace the timing chain on my Uforce 500. I replaced the tensioner last summer and am hoping that is all it is again. If not, does the timing chain have a link in it that can be seperated and fished down around the crank gear and back up top or does the bottom casing have to come off?

No link. On others you just take off a side cover, slide it over the the crank and fish it up with a wire. Do get the service manual though. It will be most helpful. Sorry I don't have one.

it's been awhile but I remember watching my brother seperate the chain on his motor bikes and feed it up through was hoping this might be the same.
