What octane is everyone running?
Book says 93 so I've been using it since new. Just wondering if anyone is using 87 and if you've noticed any noisy valves or performance issues.

In my area of Michigan, we have Recreation Fuel. Its 91 octane, and has NO ethanol. This is what we try to use always. When we cant, I run mid grade. I noticed my machine ran WORSE when I used Premium.

Here in Indiana I've always used the 87 octane since I bought it new. Never have had a problem with it so far and I've got a little over 1600 miles on it.

I use 87 but add Star Tron Enzyme with no problems

I use 92 when available, 87 other times but all our fuels have ethanol...always so I try to use 92 as much as possible.

I would say so. What does the book recommend?...I never looked.

I run Shell Gold 93. The only non ethanol fuel available in my area. I use this fuel in all my engines except the cars!
In my opinion, corn fuel is junk!
