Nope.  They dont rattle or creak or make a noise at all.  They are good and solid.  That is by far how they should have been from the factory.
I can imagine a world completely at peace.  A world where there are no weapons, no war, and no violence at all.  And I can imagine us taking over that world because they would never expect it.

Has anyone had experience with this Ricochet skid plate system?
The underside of my Trail 800 is getting beat on, the stepped down parts at the gas tank and accessory box on either side are dinged and distorted at the front already and there's a sizeable chunk of the stock plastic serving tray (whoops, 'skid' plate) that's tore right off. That's after just a month of riding in our sometimes quite rocky trails. This will need to be addressed, like soon. (Why on earth did CF Moto make those two stepped down box parts on either side of the underside anyway?)

Iron Baltic makes great skids, I bought a set of the 10 MM plastic for the second King and they are great, but Iron Baltic doesn't make a set for the Trail version of Z force. After talks with Nils it appears that they can't get a 50" model Z-Force 800 from which to take measurements.

But I ran across this set from Ricochet:
https://ricochet-off-road.myshopify.com/products/9-piece-complete-aluminum-skid-plate-set-cfmoto-zforce-800-trail?variant=39607340931

That's what I'm talking about!
I skinned an aluminum skid plate with 1/8" UHMW on my first King Quad and it worked out very well. That's a good way to go, the toughness of aluminum and the teflon like qualities of plastic.
But after Canadian exchange, taxes and delivery fees that Ricochet setup will cost around $1620.00 for the nine piece set!
Aye Carrumba!
But better than smashing something or holing the gas tank on the trail somewhere.

Anyone have experience with these?
Thanks.

Not on these but I run Ricochet skids on all my other stuff...still have them on my Brute Force. Top-notch, top quality stuff and great people to deal with. A bit pricy but I wouldn't hesitate buying anything from them.  I made some steel ones for mine to tide me over until I could get a set of Iron Baltic's center system...which by the way will fit the trails & 53" versions. It's just the arm guards that are different. Anyway, I did a How To on them.

Yeah, I considered getting an Iron Baltic center and then A arm guards from another maker, but what the heck, I'll get it all in one shot. Besides, in photos the I/B center has an odd looking notch across the middle and what look like a couple of brackets, maybe allowance for a snow plow mount or some such thing? Meh, we'll go with the Ricochets.
I put the order in. We'll see.

Thanks for the input.  8)
