FOG LIGHTS STAY ON
« on: November 03, 2018, 10:44:25 PM »
I just bought my first ATV, a 2018 CFORCE 500HO. My question is this: Are the fog lights supposed to stay on when the light switch is in the off position with the machine running?

Fog lights?...or just running lights. They may be wired to stay on now for safety reasons. Maybe someone else with one of these will chime-in. My Z does not.

FOG LIGHTS MAY NOT BE THE RIGHT NAME. I HAVE SIX LIGHTS TOTAL, HI BEAM, LOW BEAM AND TWO SMALL ROUND LIGHTS THAT ARE MOUNTED DOWN LOW ON THE VEHICLE WHICH ARE THE ONES I AM ASKING ABOUT.

That's normal.  The off Position just turns off the tail light for daylight running (brake light will still work).  The running lights are always on unless you switch to headlights or high beams.

Thanks. Also had that confirmed by the dealer when I took it in to have the factory idle adjustment lowered last week.
