Seams like a silly question. I have a cforce 500 h.o. 2021. I was able to get seat off but I can't get it to latch properly back in place. I am able to get the back part of the seat to latch in but not the front part.

It can be a pain. You have to lift the back up while fishing the hooks under the front into their holders. Then you have to hold down on the back and move the latch with your other hand. Took a few tries for me.
