Thank you,

I was going to also do the secondary air like you did, however I was quick to find out our upper intake tubes are different. I will have to modify a little more than I thought. Fun for another day.
And I am actually thinking about going to a different filter...I know I just put new material in the mushroom but..Kinda like having a dual-stage filter out there and that single red just isn't. Unifilter makes either a 6" or and 8" with a 3" base. I already have the 3" steel pipe stubbed out for the mushroom filter. Just need to put a quick 3" 90 on that and use a 3" adaptor I already have. Then I just need a water resistant prefilter to slap over it. I want the 8" but it looks like it will catch that lower bar on the cage.

NMKawierider,

Have you noticed that having the air intake behind your head is putting out a lot of noise. I have now sound proof the entire back wall and tomorrow going to work on feeding cleaner air from the cab to the CVT intake.

I only hear it a little when it's first started cold, then I don't hear it but remember, it's kinda down and behind that panel to the outside. One other member that did this same mod said he could here it all the time but he was using the original very course purple foam filter. I suggested he go to the two stage which has a...not so course and a medium layer which should add some sound deadening. I have sense gone back to a single layer red medium because of the possibility of restriction when dirty at higher RPMs. Still, the sound is about the same for me..so far.
