just joined have a 2009 500es which is very noisy when pulling away when the revs get up to aprox 2000 revs it then sounds ok
on tick over the engine sounds fine could it be something to do with clutch perhaps a bearing would like members comments.

Welcome. May be clutch-related but I'll let someone chime-in that has something like yours.
