Enclosed trailer choice!
« on: January 25, 2023, 04:56:44 PM »
Anyone tow their CForce 1000 overland in a 6x10 enclosed trailer? I know it won’t be roomy but figured if anyone had insight from personal experience?

Its the same size as my 800xc dimension wise.
It fits nicely on a 4x8 flatbed. (means I can only fit mine, hehehe)
As long as you personally are not wider (so you can get in and out  :o ) than the machine it should fit in there nice and snug.
Take sometime and set up some front chock blocks and tie rings so you can just run it in to the blocks without hitting the front.
Snug up your front ties then secure the back and your done.

I have a 5x8 to which I added 4ft sides.  I have to put my Polaris Sportsman close to one side in order to get off and on.  If in middle, have to climb over rear rack.  With gate up, there is about a foot of space if machine is touching front.

I have a 5x8 open trailer right now. Pretty snug without the cargo box on the bike. Was looking to switch to an enclosed. Figured the 6x10 would be snug width wise. Haha

When i went to pick up my 800 trail i took a enclosed trailer.Went to load it and the trailer was not tall enough.
Ended up taking the top off to get it loaded. It was easy to do and didn't take long.
Just a pain in the rear.Make sure you get one tall enough.

That and get something you can use for other things..not just haul your machine.

I have a 7x14 Cargo trailer converted to a camping trailer.  Nearly everything in it came from stuff bought at yard sale or 2nd hand store, taken apart, used in another way.  The foldup sofa-bed thing was just loose pieces on the floor.  Everything else was bare walls.  Sleeps 2, heh heh, has TV, stove, tiny shower, self contained toilet - but usual is kitty litter in a plastic bag, fishing poles on ceiling, LED lights, solar panels, etc.

Both 600T and kayak fit.  Kayak supports removable with 4 pins.  Simple. I can also put a Ural Gear-Up motorcycle under the kayak. The floor already had 8 tie-downs in it and is insulated walls, roof, floor - the whole thing.

YMMV
