I have a XY XUV 500CC 4x4 4seater has the 2010 CF MOTO Uforce 500c drive train.  Its stuck in 4wd and i can get it do shift out. I bought a new actuator and plugged it in and still i get nothing. The switch is working and I can see the relays moving below the dash for the different positions. It reads in 4wd on the dash . All the fuses are good and seems to have power so i don't think its the actuator since I tried a new one and it does not work either . Does not seem like the switch or relay. What could it be ? Stumped?  Also, it will not go into low gear. Does the unit have to be in low gear to switch out of regular 4wd? I bought it like it is so i have never seen it switch in or out of 4wd before. Any help would be appreciated.

If it is the same as the 800 then I may be able to help as I have taken one apart. to me out sounds like maybe the teeth on the fork may be stripped out. that would allow the actuator to spin but it won't actually move the sleeve.

Is it the same as the Zforce 550?

That has a black plastic box on the front of the front diff and they can bend the fork if changed drive while on the move under load.

Pop of the box and you will see the fork on it's pin and it will slide left right from 2wd, 4wd locked.

Select 2wd on dash, the stepper motor will move, place fork into 2wd and reassemble, it should work.
